Directions to Brownfield

Brownfield is one hour west of Portland. Coming from the south the easiest route is to take I-95 north to exit 48 – Riverside Street/ME-25/US-302. Follow signs to take you west on US-302. You will drive through Windham, Raymond, and Naples on the way to Bridgton. Just before reaching Bridgton you will take a left on Rte. 117, at Paris Farmer's Union. Brownfield is approximately 15 miles from this junction.

Travel past Woods Pond on your right. Continue through the blinking light to the Civil War monument. Go straight down the hill - This is now Rte. 160. Continue straight through town to the junction of 160 and 113/5. Go Across 113/5 at a slight angle to the left. The Community Center is about a mile down on the left just beyond the town office. Parking is to the side of the building.

If coming from the north you probably know how to get to Portland. Follow Rte 302 west as above whether you come from “the city” or the turnpike exit in Gray.

From the New Hampshire side we are about 20 minutes from the border, 30-35 minutes from North Conway by way of Fryeburg. In Fryeburg turn right at the light on 302 onto 113/5 at the obelisk. About a ten minute drive turn right onto 160. The Community Center is about a mile down on the left just beyond the town office. Parking is to the side of the building.

There are other ways to get to Brownfield from the west or back roads from here and there. You have a general idea where the town is located and can check your map or “Google” and MapQuest to find what works best for you. Be advised that Google may send you off at Biddeford – not the easiest way. Choose what seems best for you and let us know if you have questions.
